Update

Dad is slowly coming to this morning. We haven't been called in by the doctor since he got out of surgery so that is good. Just went in to visit and he is responding to our voices and squeezing our hands. According to his nurses he's exhibiting behavior that is "normal" for this stage in the process. The next hurdle for him, which they expect to take place this afternoon, is to be taken off the ventilator and then he'll be able to go from critical care unit to ICU.

    I don´t have the pleasure to meet you but I am very grateful for the news about John. I am her friend here in Juchitán.

    I sincerely hope John recovers soon. when you say that children are doing in pimpollo prayer for John recover his health and can be with his family. and then when he have more forces can come to visit, as they love him and send him lots of hugs.
    for me tell him I'm thinking a lot about it and asking God to give hem on
    health and many blessings.

    I just heard this morning about the news. I really hope everything is going smoothly and things will get much better. I am so sorry to hear about all of this and my thoughts and prayers are with you Uncle John. Love, Jack Kerr
