Hey everyone - Kalie here.
So I changed the settings to that anybody can post a comment. I know that Dad loves this, so please write if you feel inclined to do so! Where is says "Comment as", select "Name/URL" as your profile type. Then type your name and IF you want to also include your email address - you can enter that in the "URL" field. Or leave it blank.
Happy blogging.
Hey John!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to post a quick note. Pimpollo sends their love. Rafa has been naming you in their prayers before meals. Doña Jose says they are praying for you day and night. That goes for me too, Juan. You and your family are in my prayers... in the morning, in the night, while I'm driving, when I'm not. I see you well... and very very happy. You'll get there... and I'll do anything I can to help.
I love you.
Julia (Loca)
By the way, Kalie, thanks for the instructions!
By the way... the URL field for posting a comment did not like my email address. I tried my web address and it worked. Maybe it was the @ sign? Just a thought... Julie
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI heard from Juli at Pimpollo this morning. They were happy to hear that Juan is making progress. Her message read... "Nosotros vamos a continuar con nuestras oraciones para Juan" We are going to continue with our prayers for John. They are praying for a speedy recovery. All of Pimpollo sends their love and hugs.
We all love you John!
Julie
Boot Camp? Sounds like more abuse from the hospital staff. Just whack 'em in the larynx if they're not treating you well. A good sharp blow there will bring them to their knees and all your demands will be met.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding.
But I'm so glad to hear that you're at the point of starting boot camp.
Will you be issued an M-16 or do they still use the old M-1s at the rifle range?
I'm still feeding the hummingbirds here. Three of them stayed around all through last winter. I had to tie an old lighted Christmas wreath under the feeder to keep their nectar from freezing, even during the day. The heat from the little light bulbs did the trick.
Today & tonight I'll be loading 100 crab pots on my boat and we'll set them tomorrow. Darrell's crab fishing season starts tomorrow so ......
no rest for the serfs.
We bought a 2010 Prius and the last time I checked the mileage we got 53mpg. I'm thrilled.
We could probably drive to Eagle for twenty bucks or so. lol
I'm taking a tax class from H & R Block. Jeez is it ever so very detailed. Not sure if I'll use it to work for them but I'm learning a lot and might volunteer at the senior center to help others do their taxes.
Glad to hear you have such a nice view from your room. Should have used that throat chop on the room assignment clerk to get a better view. Maybe Karen could take care of that for you.
In the meantime, tell the Oregon football teams to take it easy on us this year. but if they can beat Washington, for sure they'll beat USC and the Pac-10 title will come down the the civil war. I'm sure you'll be watching.
Until then, I'll have to dig out come old rose bowl tapes to watch. ;-)

Captain of the COLTS,
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how news travels! The Beehive just called and wants to run behind you again(she remembers...). The COLTS are gearing up for a rematch. Continue your rehab, and we'll be back.
You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Joan and Mark
John,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your recovery is going well. You should be strong enough by December to see you at the Palendech's party! Love Rod and Teri Alexdander
